I wanted my second Valentine’s Day look to be a little different because so many looks involve dresses, so I decided to wear pants. Pant outfits can still be sexy and perfect for Valentines Day! (If you haven’t seen my first Valentine’s Day look, check it out here)
My top is an all black sheer body suit with floral lace embellishments, you have to wear a bra with this as it is too see through to not wear anything underneath (unless that is the look you are going for, but I wouldn’t recommend it). This top is just dark enough that you can wear a black bra and it looks like your undergarment is apart of the top. I wore a black strapless bra because I didn’t want there to be a bunch of straps to interfere with the look of the lace.
I wore black high waisted skinny jeans, I think high waisted jeans really help accentuate curves and I love it! I chose not to wear ripped jean because I wanted this look to be polished rather than a relaxed vibe.
As for my shoes, these are the same as the shoes from my first Valentine’s Day look. I recently purchased these on sale (Score!) and have been dying for the chance to wear them as much as I can! However, I genuinely think they complete this look. Since I wore long sleeves and long pants I wanted to mix it up with a strappy chunky heel.
I kept jewelry to a minimum with gold hoop earrings. I tried wearing both bangles and a simple necklace and didn’t like how it looked with the ensemble, it looked a bit too busy and distracted from the embroidery on the top.
My makeup was also kept to a minimum, I did a simple smokey eye with little eye liner and for a pop of color I used bright red liquid lipstick. I absolutely love liquid matte lipstick, it dries quickly and stays on when eating or drinking. My favorite liquid lip is the Kat Von D liquid Lipstick. (I used the color Outlaw – Brick Red)
