I am hoping that if I keep making Spring and Summer recipes that it will encourage the weather to warm up! I have been interested in making a spritz cocktail ever since it hit Instagram like crazy last year. Unfortunately, I was in the process of moving and adjusting to life in Chicago, so I didn’t get the chance to try it out. I posted a Spritz photo to my Instagram and got several questions about how to make it or what recipe I used. As requested, here is the Aperol Spritz recipe I use.Continue reading “SPRITZ COCKTAIL”
Now that the holiday season has come to an end, it’s time to settle in because the cold is here to stay for a few months. This recipe has the warm comfort food feeling with all of the flavor you are looking for in the winter. Pasta, especially homemade pasta, is my favorite comfort food. I am finally back to reality, I visited my family over the weekend to celebrate Christmas early. We made tons of cookies, fruit cake, fudge, and so much more. This would be a great date night activity or fun to make when you have friends over, just make sure you start early if you want to eat by 7pm. Continue reading “FRESH HOMEMADE PASTA”
As fall approaches, I am spending less time outside and more time at home or entertaining friends. I love to entertain people, it feels good to welcome others and make them feel at home. Drinks are great to keeping the party going, but food and snacks are a must. So, I have been on the hunt for snacks that are moderately healthy and delicious.
I went to the farmers market recently to scope out some snacky ideas, among other fun things, and sampled some amazing fresh goat cheese. Ever since, I have been obsessed with finding fresh feta. I began searching feta recipes, the best kinds of feta, and where to get fresh feta…you get the idea. I came across a recipe that I am in love with!
