Are you ready for the sandal season this summer? I’m not! I still have to make my toes look presentable and of coarse need to go shopping for sandals! I came up with some of my favorite picks this season in each category of heels, espadrilles, strappy, and slide sandals. Espadrilles and mules are SO in this season and I can’t wait to pair them with so many outfits.
If you have been following me for awhile, you will know I’m obsessed with neutrals. I am trying to branch out with patterns and colors, but not too much… baby steps, right?!
All of the shoes below are linked, all you have to do is click the + to be redirected!
Now all that you have all of the sandals you need for the season, it’s time to get a pedicure and wait by the door for the shoes to be delivered! What shoes are you strutting this summer?
I started seeing barrettes about a month or so ago, never did I think this trend would make a comeback. I had a million of these growing up, all different shapes and shades of pink. Even though this trend came out of no where, I am all of the sudden obsessed. Instead of shades of pink I am looking for a stylish gold or, as always, leopard print. Shockingly, when I looked up barrettes there weren’t many options on my favorite boutique websites. None the less, I went on a hunt for the perfect barrettes for you. Below are the categories of barrettes that you are sure to find at least one hair piece you will love.

Trying to find the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit can feel daunting. I created a few shoppable edits that will be perfect for any night that you may have planned. While I love going out and dressing up for date night I will be taking the relaxing night in approach this year. It has been so cold in Chicago and I really don’t want to go out and try to make reservations in a packed restaurant, when dining at home can be just as romantic. Making dinner together is one of my favorite things to do with my girl friends and my significant other. I think its so fun to cook and eat together. Who doesn’t love eating, right? Anyways, I hope you find the perfect out fit or inspo from this post. Happy Valentines Day!

Since I live in Chicago, I feel like I have been wearing heavy sweaters and coats for MONTHS. I can’t get enough of the cute coat trends that are in this season. Leopard has been so popular since this last summer and I’m thrilled that it has continued into winter. Neutrals, textures, and plaid are all in, and yes, I am counting leopard as a neutral. Even though I know I can only wear one at a time, I can’t help but love all of these coats.

Let’s talk about Black Friday, every year I reminisce about a time, before smart phones (I know shocking), where I would make a list of the things I was looking for. I’d set my alarm for 4 or 5AM and then head to the mall. Every year I would get a Cinnabon for breakfast and stand in line for hours, waiting to get into Forever 21 and GAP to buy a sweater that was less than $20. My preteen self lived for this day, I have changed a lot since then, and thank goodness! I would rather sleep in on my day off, after eating all of the delicious food the day before. I would also rather do all of my shopping online and have them sent straight to me. Gone are the days of waiting in line and fighting over sweaters out of bins!
I have created a guide of some of the retailers, what their sales will be, and the codes/dates you need to save money! I’m calling it the lazy girl’s guide to Black Friday, or maybe it’s just for people who want to get their full night’s sleep and not be trampled by a crowd of sleep deprived strangers. Call it what you like, but it will help you navigate the craziness that is Black Friday/Cyber Monday!
