I don’t really remember the first time I thought of graphic tees as fashion. I think it was when I saw one of my girlfriends show up to a bar in a t-shirt and I was wearing a more dressy top. I thought, I should do that, it looks so comfortable. Tees are so versatile, I just hadn’t grasped that concept yet. Gradually, I started to accumulate more (cute) graphic tees, that weren’t just my old college or work out shirts. Since I live in Chicago, I feel like I have been wearing heavy sweaters and coats for MONTHS. I can’t get enough of the cute coat trends that are in this season. Leopard has been so popular since this last summer and I’m thrilled that it has continued into winter. Neutrals, textures, and plaid are all in, and yes, I am counting leopard as a neutral. Even though I know I can only wear one at a time, I can’t help but love all of these coats.

Is anyone else wondering where spring is hiding?? I had a photo shoot planned for a spring outfit post, but the day I had time it was 30° outside. As much as I enjoy taking pictures, I didn’t feel the need to freeze. I am so ready for warmer weather, since I had no such luck, I improvised with a different outfit. Why waste a good lighting, right? In the shoot I tried out my “new” coat, this coat is from a thrift store and I absolutely love it! It is a thick wool with a hand stitched satin lining in brand new condition, and the best part is that I only paid $7 for it!
