    AFFORDABLE FALL SWEATERS

    I can’t believe it’s already the middle of October, summer went by so fast, and it’s finally starting to feel like Fall in Chicago! Do you know what that means? It’s finally sweater weather and it’s time to stock up! In the past I have struggled with finding sweaters that were good quality but also affordable. My style changes a bit from year to year so I try not to spend a lot of money on things I may not wear the next year, I can’t justify spending over $100 on a sweater. If you’re the same way, you’re in luck, I have found some affordable and ADORABLE sweaters. I tried to find pieces that were under $50. Vici Collection, Vestique, and Forever 21 are my favorites right now! You can shop all of the sweaters I found below, if I find a coupon code I will list it for you!

    HAPPY NATIONAL PASTA DAY!

    I hope you all enjoy pasta as much as I do, if not you might be reading the wrong blog post. As it is National Pasta Day, a holiday I think we can all get on board with, I decided to make pasta from scratch. I am not an expert by any means, this is harder than it looks and it takes some time, not to mention, the mess! But, it is SO much fun to make your own pasta. This would be a great date night activity or fun to make when you have friends over, just make sure you start early if you want to eat by 7pm. (more…)

    This post is a little bit of a life update/ inspo post. I am moving into a different apartment, but I haven’t found one that I am 100% sold on yet. I am very picky with most things but I feel that when hunting for an apartment you have to choose wisely. I mean, why wouldn’t you? You’re planning on living there for at least a year. In the mean time, until I can find somewhere I want to live, I have been spending a lot of my free time on Pinterest.
